New guy with a problem :(
Hey everyone, I've been lurking for a minute now and my new problem gave me reason to register. I live in Montgomery, Alabama and I subscribe to knology cable. I have a scientific atlanta 3250HD box with the DVI out. I recently bought DVI/HDMI cable from monoprice.
When I connected it to my HDMI input, a picture showed up but everything was blue and colors seemed to be all screwy. Component shows fine, but I don't know what's wrong. I tested the cable and HDMI input by connecting my PC to my TV. The colors were fine so it's not the cable nor my HDMI input. Has anyone else had this problem or knows what it is? Thanks in advance. |

Update, it seems that blue and red are switched. Everyone looks like a smurf, but everything that is supposed to be blue is now red, the whites and blacks seem to be unaffected. It's funny looking, but it's starting to make me mad. Could it be the 3250HD is defective?

I had kind of the same problem with my Samsung SIR-T150 - things on one particular channel appeared to be very blue. The cords weren't switched (everything was fine on other channels). My set displays in 1080i, and my Samsung was set to 1080i. I downgraded the Samsung to a 720p, and everything went to normal.
