I'm sure you've already posted this somewhere, but I can't find it ...

I'm surprised at these presented results quite frankly, but don't have the proper info./equipment to judge.
NO camera were used. We have separate threads for that kind of approach.

Yes, Yes and Yes. You got it

Try viewing them again, I replaced them with the Full HD version.

Most of these make me jones for HD optical.

Nice work!

I've just sent the link to a J6P friend of mine. It will be interesting to hear his view.

Of course it doesn't matter to we enthusiasts as the differences are certainly plain enough for us, but in the interest of HD optical survivability over DVD...

I hope he likes 'em.

EDIT: BTW, updated shots aside, I still think pg. 2 shows more detail differences.

There are several that are just stunning, but if I had to pick one, it would be Kong and Naomi. That shot should sell some players!

I appologize for coming down hard on you in my original post. But the truth of the matter is the difference in your original resolutions was barely noticible. But since you've upsated the shots to 1920x 1080, it's almost night and day.

Thank you!

I searched around for an imagehosting site that will support massive files and bandwidth. I'm using two right now to back it each other up. This not my only screenshot thread so I need all the b/w I can get.

thanks for the work. Can you get shots of a movie that isn't a dark scene?

I have some scenes thats very bright. It will go up this weekend.

The dark scenes are very helpful in showing if the transfer is good enough to show details in low light.

That wide shot of Kong vs the Rex is unbelievable. The dvd looks like a joke.

This HD DVD title is just over the top in PQ and details. The Hulk comes very close.
