$399 MSRP could translate into an average selling price of less than $349.99. Man I'm kind of glad I was forced to wait a bit. I think I'm going to pick up an A2 and then wait for the next Xbox 360 update before I grab one of those. Either way I'm ahead of the game. |

oohhh oohhh sony is announcing a new price very soon .. BDP300 at $499
a week later Toshiba will announce $699, $399 and $299 . Toshiba is laughing its way to the bank to deposit the profit from selling the players at that prices .. while Sony crying to the bank in the hope of securing more loan to subsidise the new player and the PS3 |

Bought mine 430.00 brand new with BB after using 12% and 4 free hd-dvd they offered at that time plus 5 free hd dvd from toshiba, still a decent deal considering I am enjoying it now with my hd1000u. But you are right for waiting the price to go down good decision. |

And here comes the $300 street price for an A2 by the time Sony releases their $599 MSRP BDP-S300...
Exactly like I stated in another thread, the $300 price of entry will come from Toshiba, not the Chinese players. These will come in at a Walmart friendly $199 MSRP.
