Free Spiderman 3 blu-ray samplers at Best Buy

Found these at Best Buy earlier today. The store had about 75 on the shelves so I took 3 for myself and a couple friends.

Discs ring up as free at the register (not even $0.01 like some promo items) and don't require any purchase. Unlike previous promo discs, these come in real Blu Ray cases (And like real cases, contain several security seals - to prevent people from stealing the free discs?

Those look to be the disc that is supposed to be available April 29 where you get it if you buy a Blu-Ray disc. It's supposed to contain 3 Spider-Man 3 trailers, a sneak peek of the making of Spider-Man 3, a Blu-Ray disc preview, and more.

Well, I should say, I don't like the movie version of Spiderman. I'm a comic book fan. I'll still buy them on Blu-Ray because they will be awesome demo material, but as movies, I don't like them at all.

I was hoping to get them staggered. Spidey 2 in May before the launch (never bought the DVD because i've been waiting for HD), Spidey 1 June/July, and Spidey 3 in August/September (that's more than enough time!).

After the way the HD DVD supporters were talking (especially you), the whole walmart deal would cause EVERY studio to go neutral. Hence, beatboy's comment about spiderman being exclusive. Why don't you do us all a favor and stay on your side.

Uhh my Panasonic BLU-RAY player and 40+ BLU-RAY titles and counting says I'm on the right side of the forums.

I'd have a lot more than 40 had fox not completely disappeared from releasing BLU-RAY titles.

As I can not list the name of my source at Sony, I have no problems listing this as a "rumor." However personally attacking members on AVS is frowned upon more then anything. I encourage you to not do this again.
