Any idea where one could pick this up? I've been interested in this set for months now. Kinda tired of waiting around for the Pio 8 Gen 60" which I know will be out of my price range. I just looked at the Samsung 50" last night... looked good without any adjustments. I'm sure much better with adjustments.
THanks. |

0.2 inches too wide for my cabinet
This TV is specified as measuring 60.2 inches in width and my cabinet is 60.0 in width. What a bummer.
If someone has access to this set can you PLEASE measure the width and see if the specifications are accurate? Is there any chance the Philips 63PFP7422D will have dimensions that are different than the Samsung's? Last edited by i.m. beldar; 04-29-07 at 07:44 PM.. |

I absolutely agree! This is the set that is on the top of my list at the moment. Size is great and list of specs (that are known) seem like a perfect blend. I'm going to wait and see what Pioneer comes out with as far as pricing for the 60" 1080p, Philips releases their 63", and the Panasonic 58" 750 pricing. I figure once these unknowns are out there then I'll decide. But ultimately these are the 4 sets that are on my list. What I want to see is how the Philips 63" will compare to the Samsung 63" - hopefully identical as the glass is the same. David |

Philips will also have PP 3HD, so it will probably look decent with sd material and a 1,500$ less msrp price than the Samsung. I wish it would come out with 1.3 hdmi and xvYCC, but so far no mention of it, which is a bummer. Has anyone found its user manual in order to clear this out?

Wow! Amazing TV!
Wow, this is an amazing television!
I currently have an HL-P5685W and have loved it over the last two years... but now we're moving to a larger house with a much larger living room (viewing distance will increase a good 3-10 feet throughout the room). I've been hankering for a 1080p television with true 1920x1080 resolution... I was resigning myself to the idea of a LN-T5265F LCD 1080p, but was disappointed in downgrading the size. Then I checked Samsung's website again today and saw this plasma. This FP-T6374 is exactly what I want! Perfect! Called Magnolia and put one on reserve for whenever they show up here in Oregon. |

Hrm... Copy Mistake?
I was just taking a look at the official product specification sheet on Samsung's website. On the first page it lists full 1920x1080 native resolution...
But on the second page it says, Quote:
