There was a discussion of those here on this forum about a month ago. I think the one that the person was looking at was for sale over the net. Is this a 16:9 CRT selling for around $600?
I think the consensus was that it was too expensive, and there would be no way to get a replacement if the unit was defective since they are no longer being made. If you do a search you should be able to find the thread. |

There is no such thing as a "gdmfs900." You are thinking of the Sony GDM-FW900 and the GDM-W900. The major difference between the two is the screen of the FW900 is totally flat, whereas the screen of the W900 is curved. The maximum refresh rates may also be different at certain resolutions.
Both displays have been discontinued but the FW900 is, of course, the newer of the two. As such, unfortunately, your only option is to purchase a used unit. (The best stuff is always discontinued.) |
