Looking for Info On Used Sony KV-36XBR400

My daughter has a chance to get a 36" XBR400 for $200.00 because the guy is moving & just wants to get rid of it.

Is it worth it? & no the set was not used a lot at all & she tells me the picture on the set looks good to her.

Should I tell her to grab it? Thanks & any info you can give me on the set would be great like what kind of an HDTV monitor it is & etc.

I tried to look it up at Crutchfield but only the XBR450 would come up? Any idea where I could get pictures of the set & back panel because right now I can't download the owners manual. By chance is the back panel on the 400 the same as the 450?

Found that on Google images. The set sounds like a deal if the tube isnt worn out. The only problem I see is the article doesnt mention acceptance of 720p signals, which could be a problem with FOXHD or playing PS3. Sometimes quality electronics will do things not specifically mentioned in their pres releases, of course. But those would be my concerns.

Accepting 720p should not be a problem with a cable box or sat box. The box can be configured to scale up 720p to 1080i. Xbox also can do this. I am sure PS3 is close to fixing that flaw. I would offer 125 dollars though. The set is at least 6-7 years old and not worth more then that. Remember, evething is negiotable.

I've had this TV since 2001 and it's worked like a champ. Great picture.

Today, what really bothers me about it is:
1. No HDMI
2. No HDTV off air tuner
3. No 720p (and I'm not so sure sony is close to fixing this with the PS3)

I'd really like to trade up for sony's newer 955, but I can't find them anywhere.

For 200 bucks, it'd be a good deal... but it's a HUGE pain to move. It weights 230 pounds and I don't blame the guy for wanting to get rid of it.
