Help! My XBR970 is not displaying one of the chroma planes!

My Sony 34XBR970 appears to be busted. There I was, playing video games, when all of a sudden the blue chroma plane just vanished. Everything looks red and green now, and this behavior is present on all inputs. I've tried disconnecting everything, plugging the TV into a different outlet, nothing works! What do I do?

It's pretty scary hearing all these stories of XBR970's biting the dust. Mine just turned 1 month old, but with no problems yet.

*whistles in dark*

Makes me wonder if I will make it past the end of my 2 year warranty without some major problem.

I have a strong feeling that the previous models the 34HS420,XS955,XBR960 were sony's best CRT tubes that they last made before going out of production.

If you asked any owner of especially the HS420 series it's a very reliable solid tv, very few people have had that many issues compared to the XBR970 version that's the later model.

I know lots of posters here that own the HS420 series and some have had them over 4 years now like myself.I guess they were built better back in 2004 before sony went cheap then cut production completely of CRT display market.
