? for Owners of CCP-509 Popcorn Maker
I've owned the Helman Group (Nostalgia) CCP-509 popcorn maker for a little less than a year. Over this time
I have noticed that the plastic piece on the ceiling under the motor has been breaking apart until now it's so loose it's interferring with the ability to let the kettle gear return to it's normal position after emptying. I'm curious if any other owners of this popper have noticed cracking or breaking of this piece on their poppers? I am trying to contact Helman Group Cust Serv but haven't had any luck as yet. We've only popped a little over a case of popcorn over this time so it's not heavily used by any means. I honestly think it was either defective or cracked during the original manuf. assembly process causing a weak point. From a popping point of view I've been very happy with this popper and it has fit our usage needs just fine. I do of course want to get this issue resolved and try to determine why it started breaking to begin with. |

Howdy I have the same popper. My unit has perform prefectly for over a year now,We use it maybe twice a week.I check where you were talking about and see no problem. So far we have been more than happy with the Nostagia popper.I was going to buy a American made commercial popper but did not know if it would get used much,I have to say the popper has been a huge hit with everyone,I would never be without one again. For the money it is a fine unit for HT use.BOB

I think they sent me your part, the motor cover. Not the socket at the bot. of the kettle that I need. I emailed them to let them know, but who knows how long it will take to get a reply? Last time took over two weeks. If they send you my parts matbe we can trade. P.S. the motor cover they sent me won't fit on my popper it's way to small. |
