Need advice on seating

I am in the middle of setting up my home theater and having a great deal of trouble deciding on seating. I've looked on-line (but nervous about not getting "look and feel") and in 8 or 9 local stores. My wife and I have only found one grouping that we really like, but we think it's too expensive (I admit my ignorance as to what constitutes a good value in this area--total seating newb!)

Haverty's, a nat'l chain with a local store here, has this group (pic attached) of 4 curved seats, with motorized recline and slide out storage at the bottom. We think they are extremely comfortable and attractive and we love the motorized recline. BUT, we don't love it at just about 4k!

Does anyone know if anyone else makes this seating? I am assuming it's a knock-off of one of the big names. There is no brand I can see on the Havertys seating and they say it's made for them.

As always, the help is greatly appreciated!

At 4k I would hope it's not a knock off. Does the dislay not mention who makes the product?

Seating is a very personal thing. I have Klaussner Hollywood seats, and while they're comfortable, and very inexpensive, I wish they would support the head more when fully reclined. My height doesn't help though.

On the other hand I've heard a lot of people say that you don't want the head rest too high as it will block sound from your surround speakers.

Whatever you do, just make sure that you're comfortable. Sound you'll adjust for.

Seats

I've never seen this type of seating before although but it's not uncommon for furniture stores to "re-brand" their furniture with their own name. So, they may not be knock-offs, but just name brand seats with a new name. One clue is to look for the model number that may be the same as the name brand and do a web search for that model number. Do you know if the seats pictured are all leather or a leather/vinyl match? If full leather, that's an ok deal but you could do better with Berklines. Good luck with your search for seats.

I'll take a look and see what I can see. These are all leather (one of the reason she likes it so much--she REALLY hates the fake stuff).

Do you know of another seat that you can get in a curved row of 4, with motorized recline, that's all leather and a good bit less than this one?

Thanks to all!

There are plenty options with the Berkline Home Theater style groups to get you what you are looking for.
