Alternatives to Middle Atlantic?

I'm looking into using a Middle Atlantic AXS slide-out rack, but I'd like to find out if there are any other manufacturers making similar products, i.e. slide out racks with custom rackmounts. This is partly because the maximum height of the AXS is 43 units, and I'd like to go a bit taller than that. Are there any similar products around?

By the way, on the Middle Atlantic racks I've seen pictures of here, people don't seem to fit trim strips to cover the screws. Why is that - are they difficult to fit?

DONT get the AXS slide-out. If you do, the screws at the bottom that both i-lock the slideout rails in place, and ii-hold the anodized plate that secures the unit, are going to strip and leave you with a very profound need for a large can of zip ties.

If you do get it, get extra screws and replace them each time you remove the rack.

The trim strips are a bit of a pain to install and aren't really worth the extra cost. Just get better looking screws. I am using ones that have knurled and anodized black to match the rack.

How tall of slide out are you needing? If it is a full size look into a computer cabinet. Most have wheels built in. Just attach the trim directly to the rack. Works great and you don't have to worry about the screws stripping. If you are going smaller check with cabinet companies in your area. They make heavy duty drawer slides that will support 300lbs or more. Just attach a standard rack on top of it.
