Pine or Alder TV Stand?

Hey all -

I've been sifting through the various on-line TV stand stores (standoutdesigns.com, tvstandshowcase.com, bb.com, amazon.com, and tons more) and haven't found a decent selection of natural wood TV stands (with room for a center channel and components).

Lots of black, metal, and glass stuff out there, but we'd like to find something that matches the rest of our stuff (rustic pine and alder).

Anyone know a good source? I think I've looked at 50+ different sites over the last few days and have only found cherry and oak stuff.

How big is your TV? Rear projection or flat panel? What is your budget?

DOH...sorry about not including any info.

The TV's a 57" DLP; I'm hoping to get away for under $300 on the stand (furniture is way too over priced IMO).

I looked through the Salamander Designs stuff...nice, but pricey. I also checked racksandstand.com - basically looked through 8 pages of google links before giving up.

My wife and I hit a local unfinished store this weekend and we're getting a quote to have one made from pine or alder. The guestimate was $290: 60" long, 22" high, with two schelves and 19" compartments (total of 6 compartments for components).

I'd like to find one already made for less if anyone has ideas
