Comcast Rip off in Vero Beach Florida

Hello -

I've had an on going issue with my parent's comcast bill.

When they moved to Vero and subsequently obtained their first HDTV, they signed up to get the HDTV receive and whatever basic channels for $10 more dollars (locals + ESPN, and a few others).

Later, they got a panasonic plasma tv, dad called and asked for the cable card, etc. They started getting billed an extra $7 for d/o (digital outlet) plus what looked like another $8 bringing the bill to about $16 dollars. However on the original HDTV in the main room, they only were getting the local hd stations epsn, tnthd, etc.

In trying to get this mess fixed up, my dad called and asked to get the channels in the front room, and they told him it would be another $14 (which sounded like digital plus to me) on top of what they were paying. Bringing the bill to almost $30 on top of what the home owners association pays.

Does anyone have a clue what to do with this place? I told him it would be better just to get the directv they seem to offer more channels and its we would get the dvr as well

thanks,

ed
