We have a seasonal home/small house north of Grand Rapids MN. The television reception we get is quite poor. We have an antenna on the roof which didn't do a great job, but now the motor burned out, so it is stationary and does a fair job at best.

I am looking to purchase a Christmas gift and an not sure what to get for the parents. It is their place and they spend about 30% of their time there. They don't want a subscriber service like cable or DSL. Just an antenna.

Is a Terk Antenna a good one?

Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks in advance!
