Just got my Comcast service yesterday with DCT6412. Hooking up either of the digital outs to my DAC yeild nothing. My DAC is not a 5.1 processor, but just a PCM 2.0 DAC. Works well with all DVD players I have and accepts a variety of sample rates. The 96khz light comes on when I connect the dig audio cables to the device, but just digital noise. Is there a setting for the kind of output? Any help.

I also hooked up a comcast box yesterday with HDMI to Onkyo 606 Receiver. Video works great but no Audio. Tried it on two TVs and neither one worked. Got picture but no sound. I went into the Audio Options and did not see a setting for HDMI audio out. Anyone else having this problem or have a solution?

I also have this combination of components. Your DAC does not support dolby digital. You need to get stereo PCM out of the set top box. If you figure out how to do this, please let me know.
