Hi all...

I am curious if anybody knows.......does this box DCT6416 PhaseIII box carry output on all the audio outputs at the same time?

I have a receiver in my basement that i would like to feed audio too via the digital coax connection .... (digital cable music in basement is what i am after)

But at the same time i have already hooked up an optical cable to a different receiver in my living room that is normally used.

Question in a nut shell.....are all the audio jacks...(digital coax...optical...analog out.... all active at the same time?
or is it just "Either the optical or the digi-coax? But not both.

I realize that i will hear the same audio on both receivers....and that is fine....just want music in basement while it also plays upstairs too.

I have the analog outputs going to the TV so if i don't feel like using the receiver i can hear audio with just the TV on. So that option is out.

Experiment and please let me know the results.....
Hope is does all at same time with no ill effects on the box or my equipment.

Thanks in advance.... GD.

OK.....i checked it out myself.....and wa-la....yes all outputs are active at the same time.
I will be running a digi-coax cable into the basement to enjoy digital music down there.

Hope this helps anybody thinking of doing the same thing.
