Is it possible to have two DCH6416 receivers side by side with the individual remotes set to a different code so that both receivers do not respond to both remote controls at the same time?

If not, are there any workarounds or other options?

I would like to switch from Directv to my local cable company but my setup requires the two boxes to be in same area.

Thanks for any responses,

Bill

in a multi reciever environment (sports bar) the trick I use is to attach (or hold) a opaque tube of some sort to over the front of the remotes LED. choking the light it rifles the signal to the unit it is pointed at and the others cannot see the signal.
