Hi, can I attach a hard drive to this unit via USB in order to record a TV show?

No Motorola boxes support external hard drives.

So, if the unit don't have Hard drive there is no way to record a show on a digital way? Theres no way to add storage?

That's correct. Even on the DVRs, there is no way to add storage.

No, there is not.

Aside from the Motorola DVR, no Motorola box is capable of recording. No Motorola box supports USB, eSATA, or any other form of external storage.

USB ports are not functional, except to charge a MP3 player. Like most ports, they are there for "future use."

The Firewire (IEEE1394) is there to connect one of the now-discontinued JVC D-VHS HDTV VCRs.
