I have a Motorola DCH3416 and since I don't have enough inputs for consoles and etc on my television I was wondering whether or not it is possible to plug a DVD player into the DCH3416 so that I can view DVDs on the television through the cable box and if so how this process is done. I'm wondering because I remember my last cable box being able to do this. Thank you to anyone who answers.

No, there are no working inputs on the DCT/DCH series boxes. The composite/stereo analog inputs on the front don't do anything. Get yourself a cheap switch box or something; you'd be way, way better off that way.

Ok, I figured it wouldn't work but I had an ounce of hope in me that it would... I'll look into a switch box. Thanks.
