i am close to making the decision to cut my directv service. going to use internet tv and other media servers to fill that niche. i am going to install a OTA HD antenna for local stuff. i own my directv hr24-500. what i would like to know is can i use the hr24 to record my ota programes?
this is my present system but i am planning to add a boxx box. if anyone has some more suggestions please let me know because i am new to this stuff.
