Can anyone point me towards a quality HD DVR that does NOT have a built in program guide and will allow me to record over the air DTV in HD?
I do not care about cable or any bells and whistles, but I DO want to be able to schedule timed recordings on different channels.
I have an old Pioneer DVR that unfortunately is NOT HD and, worse yet does not get DTV channels, and WORSE YET has an idiotic TV guide built in that is always downloading. Ideally I'd like something simple that just lets me record to any attached SATA drive, similar to the MICCA SLIM HD but with the ability to record scheduled DTV programs in HD - dare to dream.
