I have my Xbox One connected to my AVR and an Elgato GameCapture HD, I use a simple HDMI splitter to split the signal. I want to be able to play the game with 5.1 surround sound, but my GameCapture only accepts 2CH audio. If I run Dolby and DTS to the GameCapture it will give me an error saying it is not supported, if I run uncompressed 5.1 audio to it will read it, but it will only strip out the left and right channel. The problem with this is that it drops the center channel, something that is usually used in cutscenes; for instances, ALL dialogue during cutscenes is eliminated in Assassin's Creed 4.

My question is: Is there a device I can get that will actually convert the 5.1 audio to a full 2CH mix (including the center channel)? I have purchased a device that I thought would work, but in reality it only extracts the left and right channel dropping the center channel. Device: http://www.amazon.com/ViewHD-Premium-Audio-Extractor-Converter/dp/B00AHS8LD8/ref=cm_cd_al_qh_dp_t

Any suggestions would be appreciated!
