Arrow Gaming PVR setup

Hello, I am thinking about buying a EsayCap just to test the waters of recording without paying 150$ for a good pvr. I have a VGA monitor and the VGA Cable for my xbox. If you look at the EasyCap it has Componet Female and at the end a USB to stream/Save right to your PC. Since I have a VGA monitor and The vga cables, what would be the cheapest and most effective wait to have one side of the VGA splitter to be normal and the other one with component? May be confusing to read but thanks to anyone that can help!
