I am currently using a Samsung TS-160 for my D**tv and OTA HD solution. I am using the TS-160 Component output into my non-integtated Mits 55411 since that is the only HD input it has. The TS-160 also does have a DVI HDCP output.
Here is my question, with all the talk about HD recording and timeshifting devices that are coming down the pike within the next 12 months, I still have yet to read about a device that will act as a standalone PVR or TiVo, connected between my TS-160 DVI and my TV component input, so I can record/timeshift my OTA HD and/or D**tv Sat HD. Since I and a lot of other people already own a Sat STB, I would hope I would not have to buy an entire integrated unit vis a vis the rumored HD TiVo to be released next year, and that they would also have a version for those with DVI equiped HD receivers.
Con anyone comment on this?
Thanks
