Your question will probably be better answered in the TiVo community forums.

Expert Satellite seems to have the best deals now, including free HBO, free DVD player, free shipping and TiVo systems for as low at $20 installed (if you take advantage of referral code)!

You can get a 1-4-room DTV system with TiVo for just $50 (standard dish) or $70 (1-3 room tri-LNB) as of this week. I just paid $110 for the tri-LNB deal two weeks ago and now it's dropped in half!

You get installation, 1 HDVR2, Hughes standard receivers for extra rooms and tri-lnb or standard dish, plus first 500 to order will get a free DVD player and 3 months of free HBO ($36 value).

Shipping is rebated here:

And I'll Paypal or send you a personal check for $30 if you use my promo code to order: ref510319 ( So that's only $20 for standard 1-4 room deal; $40 for 1-3 room tri-lnb deal.

Let me know if you order so I can track and arrange to get you your $30...

At the moment the cheapest option is to switch to Direct TV.

New subscribers get a 35 hour Tivo for $50
Current subscribers can ad one for $99

These ACTUALY record 35 hours at BEST quality because they do not encode the video, they record the digital data directly from the sattelite

A standalone Tivo is going to be atleast $250
