I'm considering buying the Archos AV320 (if you're unfamiliar, think of an iPod with video capabilities (amongst other things))

The AV320 is capable of playing mpg (in mpeg4 and DiVX formats, I believe) so I'd want a PVR that was easy to Digitally copy over the recorded shows.

In the ReplayTV section there was some talk of this, I'll likely go that route...Just wanted to make sure there isn't anything else that I should consider as well.

Thanks for any help

Replay is definitely the easiest route. Because it has an ethernet connection it is trivial to copy the shows from it to your PC using DVArchive. You then run them through a simple conversion and download them to the Archos.

Another alternative is to get a TV tuner card for your PC and use one of the PC-based PVR packages to record the programs.

Depends on how much you want to fiddle with getting it to work.
