The SA 8000 SDs have been out around North America due to a leap year bug. See here:

As per the first post it seems like Time Warner's are up and running fine again. I can tell you that as of 8:50 am Rogers 8000 SD PVRs are not! They can only do one off recordings at the moment. If you try to record all episode recordings they crash.

I'm wondering how many cable systems have downloaded patches that acrually fix the problem.

Cox Fairfax (Northern Virginia) had the patch up sometime durring the day Monday Feb. 23rd. It was downloaded / installed by the time I got home from work (8:00 PM).

Edit: Note, I haven't tried to do an 'all episodes' recording since the patch was installed as I find that feature rather useless and buggy in general.

Adelphia in sunny tropical Vermont has the 8000 running with no leap year problems. I have not tried the "all episodes" feature for the same reasons cited above.
