I've heard that videotron, unlike most north american cable companies, uses DVB. If this is the case, could i use a DVB card to get pvr functionality out of my PC?

The thing i'm not sure about is whether videotron uses DBV-T or DVB-C. Does anyone know for sure? It's my understanding that i'd need a different card depending on which standard is used.

Assuming they do use dvb-c/t, would watching tv on my pc be as simple as installing the card and watching? I'm hoping this is the case... Thanks.
