I just rec'd this Motorola MOXI 50hr PVR box today and so far I am impressed. Our previous pvr was a Replay 5040, user guide on this box seems much better. Anyone else use this?

Regards,
Todd

hey todd.
we got the moxi BMC9012 installed on 3/16/2005, and had problems from the get go. Had a technician come out today 3/24/2005 and of course when he was here it worked good. Tonight it was back to the same old thing, don't know if there is more people watching tv at night around here or not. But the whole box freezes up for long periods of time. Technician is coming back out on wednsday 3/30/2005 to try a new box. When this thing works, it seems to work good. Unfortunately like i've said we've had nothing but problems with it.

When our Tech installed ours he ran some line tests using two types of "meters" I guess and sent test (pings) back and forth between here and where-ever. It took him about 30 minutes to finally get it working and it works great, we have not had problem one. I think it really depends on your signal strength. Our tech even change out all of our cable line splitters to newer ones. I really love ours so far.

Todd
