Hello,

I just hooked up a Motorolla Moxie BMC 9012 to my system thru Adelphia So Cal cable. I have it connected to my receiver to get digital sound. Here's the problem ... the Digital Audio Coaxial input doesn't seem to work. I don't get any sound at all. The optical digital audio jack does work but since my receiver has a limited number of these inputs (which are being used right now by my DVD and CD players) I would really like to use the digital coaxial input.

I called Adelphia and they think that the plug is not active yet. However, I am not too confident they woman on the help line had any idea what I was talking about.

Has anyone got this to work on their BMC 912? Did I get a defective unit?

I have this model and on mine it works fine. If you haven't tried this go to the settings menu and make sure that it is set to digital. If the setting are correct, have them bring a new box to you.

Thanks. Is your cable service from Adelphia in Southern California?
