I have shows on my Comcast Motorola DVR that I want to burn to DVD.
I want to be able to do it like I burn a CD; that is pick the order of the shows on a screen and hit burn.

I have Firewire cable and card for my Dell PC. When I connect the PC does not recognize the DVR. I suspect I need a driver.

Any help, advice, or ideas?

Thanks.

Try this page, they compressed that thread into a more step-by-step guide: http://replayguide.sourceforge.net/dct6412/

That link does not work for me...could you try to enter the URL as text and not a URL?

In what way doesn't it work? You should be able to copy and paste the text even though it's a link, or right-click on the link and hit "Copy Shortcut"

Anyway, here it is in text: http://replayguide.sourceforge.net/dct6412/

Thank you for responding.

I get the following:
""replayguide.sourceforge.net" could not be found. Please check the name and try again."

I have tried mozilla and IE...I will have to try when I get home, but usually when I do not get access at work, I get a "blocked" notice. Very strange.
