 This is a Phase 3
I have read through out these forums on ways to conect the Motorola DCT-6412 to a PC but alias I have not found something solid to work with.... What are the possiblities of conecting it to a PC? I heard of firewire but why can't I ethernet it to a router to pick off the programs? I relieze also that I can attach a external hard drive but what will that help? can I attach the external to the PC to extract the videos off of or what? Any help will be nice.

Thanks,
Chris

Well, I can't tell you how to work it with a PC... but if you have a Mac with Firewire, it's pretty easy. You have to download a free Firewire SDK from Apple, connect the DCT6412 to the Mac with a firewire cable, run a little program called AVCVideoCap and you're in business. I know there's a way to do it with a PC... search these forums and try Googling it... that's how I found out how.
