My first post here.. great site and lots of great info. I did a search but did not find an answer so here goes my first question... :)

Was wondering if there was any way to strip out the video portion of a recording done on a ReplayTV 5000 series? I read abour reVue for cleaning up commercials and for solving the audio synch problem. But I spend a lot of time in my car and would like to use my MP3 juke box to play back audio of shows I record... any ideas on how to do this??

thanks :D

There are lots of tools that do just that!
Virtual dub is free but it's not very easy to use

Here are some links to some shareware ones when I googled 'extract audio from asf'
