Ok. I must be missing something. Cable company is RCN in Boston area. Their manual is quite lacking. When I'm recording a show I should be able to change the channel without it telling me that changing the channel will stop the recording, correct? I thought the purpose of dual tuners is that you can record one channel and watch another.

It works! Thanks. Now I just have to figure out how to stop recording. Stop dosnt work :(

Press Cable button, then Stop ( square ). You'll get a dialogue saying recording is in progress - continue or stop.

Now that I'm getting used to this box it's getting much better. I'm a noob with DVR so I'm having a lot of fun. Thanks for the help guys!
