Release date 2006. (Thanks TiVo...wouldn't have guessed THAT. :D )

Specs: Dual-Tuner, HDTV, support for Cable-card two 1.0 cards or one 2.0 card, up to 300 hours of storage, expansion connector for external storage. New version of tivo dekstop is in open beta, which features iPod+Video and PSP support for Tivo2Go, allowing you to save shows from your TiVo to either device in one step.

I really like my TIVO's but the company has been sitting on their ass for too long. WTF took so long. They should have had this out 2 years ago. At the very least a dual tuner TIVO.

There is no "best", best is what's best for you...

Have you tried searching first?

Yah, it's probably too late for me. It'll have to be a damned impressive machine for me to spend the reported $800 bucks to buy PLUS the lifetime service agreement when I get a completely acceptable (not perfect, but acceptable) dual tuner HD DVR from my cable company for under $8 per month. Oh, and with the new TIVO I'd still have to pay the cable company for cable cards, maybe 2.

So, what would be worth over $1,500 bucks and more over what I already have?
