I've tried here, on the Tivo board, and on the Zap2It board, plus by phoning Tivo, to get an answer to a simple question. No luck.

The question is, how long does it take typically for a new station to show up in the Tivo/Zap2It listings. Our new PBS HD station, which went on the air last week, isn't shown yet. But Tivo c.s. said it only takes a day or two. Who'd have the right answer?

Zap2It doesn't even have a phone number on their website...not that I could find, anyway. Doesn't say much for their end-user support.

Regarding the TiVo service, TiVo agrees to report your guide issues to the service provider in a timely manner. It sounds like that is precisely what they're doing.

It's not an issue, just a question. How long it usually takes: a week, a month, half a year?? I thought some Tivo owner whose area recently got OTA HD would know. It's not rocket science.

Sorry. I haven't seen any hard numbers. I've had changes evident in the guide the day before it actually changed, and I've had changes where the guide didn't change for almost a week. It varies.
