I have two Cox (CT) 6416III recently upgraded to software 16.38.
Ever since then, I've been seeing serious stuttering on both boxes.
Watching an HD (or SD) show, picture freezes AND Audio cuts. If I rewind to play the scene again, there IS NO stutter (the disruptions are NOT recorded).
* I am using HDMI for video only, seperate optical cable for audio.
* Two completely different TV's and Receivers.
* I have reset the both boxes.
* Both boxes are less that 60% of capacity.
This is NOT an HDMI and/or TV/Receiver issue.
It does NOT appear to be a signal quality issue as it is NOT in the recorded segments that I notice the issues on.
What the heck is going on with these boxes and/or firmware???????
I rebooted the box AGAIN and went from a hiccup every 5-20 secs to none. However, I have done this before and it always starts again...
