How do I get my surveillance camera on one of my cable Receiver. I can use channel from 870 to 900, Example I would like to get my camera on channel 870, which channel modulator I should purchase for this set up?

I think that would require and indepth knowledge of your cable box and the right electronic hacking equipment. Have you considered something less challanging like a channel combiner. Do a google on this and see what you come up with. Most allow you to combine your signal into analog VHF channel 3/4, some do UHF.

You can get inexpensive cable modulators up to channel 135. Above that will be difficult or not possible. hometech.com has a good selection and a bit of tutorial information. They have a storefront in Cupertino, CA if you're near there. SmartHome.com has a bunch too (and probably on-line users manual downloads). Their storefront is in San Diego?
