Hello, my name is Brian. I did run a search but I didn't see any recent threads that could help me.
I currently have 3 car tuners active with Xm, a Pioneer Inno and 2 Rodies. One of my Rodies stopped working properly so I need to replace it. I called XM just now to see what they can offer me for a replacement. The cs rep offered me an Onyx for free with a free car kit, an Express RCI for $85 with a free car kit or an Edge for $70 with a free car kit. I am the type that likes to research my purchase before making it, but I cannot spend the time right now to learn the features and pros and cons of the tuners. I know all of the current tuners will be an upgrade from the Rodie, but I am considering upgrading the Inno also if that's possible.
Could I get some input from the "in the know guys?". I understand that the Edge will allow 20 or so channels that are not available on other tuners to be heard.
I would appreciate any and all input and opinions on all currently available car tuners.
Thanks in advance.
