I am absolutely baffled ! I bought a new 2011 Jeep wrangler with sirius satellite radio already in the vehicle. I bought new speakers, 10" woofers and a new head unit. To my surprise, the satellite tuner is not compatible with my new head unit and I had to purchase another satellite tuner to the tune of 84 dollars (Best Buy). I thought maybe it was just Best Buy tryn to squeeze more money out of me, but I am learning that it is Sirius that has screwed me. If I didnt enjoy satellite radio so much I would tell them to go *^%# themselves. There is no reason for them to not install universal tuners so that they may be used with other head units.

Vehicle tuners are usually specific to the car make or model because the car manufacturers integrate satellite radio into their audio systems in their own ways. For your aftermarket head unit, they do have a new universal tuner that's used with a variety of units. It's the SXV100, is that the one you bought at best buy?
