can i use this like a walkman ? ie, just walking around seattle or on the bus ? with headphones ? thanks i have a home xm radio now; thanks separate antenna ? built-in antenna ? cradle ? bluetooth ? thanks lynx ? need another radio with powered speakers; i want to use headphones; thanks

You can but I wouldn't expect it to work all that great for listening live although it may work well in the downtown area because of the repeaters. You can record, I think, up to 5 streams at once of different shows / times and then listen to that while you're out and about.

I live north of Seattle but I have taken my XmP3i w/ me while walking around downtown & the signal is great. I just plugged in some headphones & the reception was perfect. Like Brad said, they must have a lot of repeaters.
