Saw this referenced over at techbargin.com and found it on the Sirius site.

Does anyone know if the "lifetime" service is tied to one unit (like TiVo) or if it can be moved to a new unit?

If they allow you to migrate to newer units over time, it's a perfect fit.

The lifetime service is tied to one unit. I asked their customer service what if the unit should break and was told that if I supplied the receipt for the broken unit then I could authorize a new receiver. I bought the Kenwood PNP unit the other day and went with the lifetime service.

Hello,

"Lifetime of Sirius" would, perhaps, be most appropriate.

:-)

Best regards,
