So I just purchased the 2 things needed to get the XM going through my Pioneer head unit and I had a couple questions I hope you guys could help me with.

Can I still set presets??

This is the best route for the best quality, correct???

Can I activate my radio now or does it have to wait to be installed tomrrow first??

Did I make a mistake and should have gone with a P and P??I went this route because it was cheaper and supposed best quality.

Any comments, help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated before the big install tomorrow!! Very Happy

I'll bite.

For presets, not sure but it only makes sense that you can.

It is infact the best route for quality.

You gotta wait till you install to activate your radio.

I assume you mean you bought a Pioneer direct connect unit for your Pioneer head unit...

Yes, that is the best for SQ. MUCH better then FM mod, and better then a P&P unit using a RCA hook-up..

Yes you can set presets..

Can not activate early.. The radio/direct connect unit need to be on for activation..

A little advice:

Next time you post include the model numbers of the equipment. It makes it easier to answer your questions...

You'll enjoy satellite radio....Good Luck..
