I have had one for quite a while now, and I have used it a lot. It performs just like my EH55, except for a few things: 1) The EH67 does not have the phrase save feature that my other panasonic machines have; 2) the clock is 24 hour (military time) instead of 12 hour AM/PM; 3) For some very strange reason I can't fathom, when I copy to a -RAM disk, the titles get lost when I put the disk in another machine--weird; and 4) Since I use DirecTV as my service, I never use the tuner or the internal guide data, so I cannot comment on them.
As far as quality of recording, dubbing, and overall use, it is every bit as good as my EH55. All the menu items are there, and in the same place as on my other Panasonic's. In short, I recommend the EH67.
One other thing. I have taken to using the Pansonic remote that they shipped with the old E50 machine (I think?) with all of my Panasonc DVD recorders, EH50, EH55, EH75, and the EH67. It is the only remote that has an eject button on it. The EH67 works perfectly with this remote, and the eject button causes the unit to eject the disk just fine. Of course the features that the EH67 has that the E50 didn't can't be accessed with this older remote, but nearly everything *I* do works just fine.
If you have a specific question, just ask.
Evil is charming and beautiful. It makes you doubt yourself. It asks for one small compromise after another until it whittles you down, and it functions best when no one believes in it.-JOA
