I'll relinquish the coffee maker wish as long as it's a hot-air popper...

Tryin' to lose the "love-handles"...

I'm like a beaver...
A hot little beaver...

I've never had popped hot air - what's it taste like?

Seriously, I'm sure none of us want food or beverages near our DVDRs. If you want a 'sensible' request, that just goes too far, how about a built in printer, to print frame caps, or JPegs, from discs, or USBs?

Really, a wish list is fun, and if a manufacturer happens to check it out, some of the features might show up, who knows?

It tastes like styrofoam peanuts! I can't stand the stuff, and I LIKE popcorn!

16. HDD Files Easily Transferrable to PC for Editing and BD Disc Authoring.

17. Cable Card (CC), USB Port and Tuning Adapter (TA) Capability.

Silly question, but do these wishes include the HDD to USB feature?

#16 is for PC transfer of HDD files in any way they can (not specifically via USB). #17 is for a USB connection for a Tuning Adapter for Switched Digital Video (SDV) cable channels.

I think #5 Multiple HDDs is where the USB is that you're thinking about?

and not specifically "PC" ( as in Windows) if possible.

The HDD ---> computer file transfer should work, regardless of OS of destination disc. (hey, as long as we're wishing...)

Also, I cant remember, did we include a request for a removable 'flap' in the metal that can be punched out easily (or an opening) so that we dont have to drill out the case to extend the e-sata cable if we want to use an external (swapable) drive ?

Not needed since we've asked for more "elegant," engineered system of USB connectivity (#5)...

ALTHO... I think I'll add an option for an Esata connection on back since Funai might be somehow "restricted" on USB cuz it's a "Philips thing"... not sure what the "problem" might be.

E-sata connection on the back would be great! It would be easier and make it less likely that we screw up the innards. Thanks!

smile.gif:)Would also love the ability to multitask, meaning to be able to edit a hd title while dubbing a dvd while recording a program! Like the old Phillips machine! Of which I have 3 of and I think is the gold standard that the new machines should try to match! BTW this is the best forum for help and info! Thanks to all!!!
