I am new to this forum so I apologize in advance if this question has been asked before. My Panasonic E-85 died, no power, after many hours of service. Capacitors probably. This has been one of my favorite pieces of gear [quirks and all] and I intend to have it repaired. Panasonic indicates that it will be $260 which I assume is 2 hours for repairs. What has been anyones experience with Panasonic Service ?
Based on recommendations on this forum I have purchased a Magnavox 515 [Amazon Refurb. $199] and am awaiting delivery.

thanks

mickinct,

I have an EH75V with a dead optical drive - do you repair those also?

Thanks,
Vic

I'd take mickinct up on his offer. He has repaired many Panasonic DVDRs for people on this forum. To PM him, click on his name and select send private message, not visitor message which most people don't use.

By all means send a Private Message to mickinct. He is the best source for Panasonic HDD/DVD repair.

Panasonic's Elgin Illinois HDD/DVD repair is a thing of the past.

You don't want to become involved in the next horror story concerning the Panasonic McAllen Texas Wild Goose Chase described elsewhere in these pages.
