Can anyone tell me if DVDs recorded on a Panasonic DMR-EZ48VK can be read/copied by a Windows 7 64bit system?

I copied VHS tapes that were made on an old VHS camera to DVDs on this recorder. They were finalized and play fine on this recorder and a few others I tested but Windows 7 refuses to recognize the DVD.

Any help appreciated.

Which software dvd player are you using on the pc? Try using VLC Media player. It's free and plays almost anything.

Well, it's a dual-layer disk. I know my DVD drive, both reader and writer, can read/write them as I have done that many time for data DVDs. Windows 7 natively won't recognize it.

I have several programs from InfraRecorder, Nero, ImgBurn and CloneDVD installed and nothing works from Windows 7. Here I have a BluRay reader and a Plextor writer.

I have also tried my Ubuntu Linux system which has VLC installed and it won't recognize the disk either.
