HI,

If I bought a component cable adapter for my Ipad 2 and hooked it into a Panasonic DVD recorder,
would I be able to record streaming content to DVD ?

Thanks,

Tbill

This would not work because no Panasonic DVD recorder has component inputs. You would need to get a composite or S-Video cable adapter instead. As far as I know, there is no reason that a composite or S-Video adapter wouldn't work.

Hi Church AV Guy,

I don't believe an adapter for Ipad exists for composite or S video. I know
Monoprice doesn't have it.

How about this one? I don't have an ipad, so I don't know, but the description seems right.

A lot of premium content on the Internet is protected and I don't think even Microsoft loves DRM as much as Apple does. You may need a copy-buster box for some content.

Hi Church AV Guy,

In reading the customer reviews, it seems pretty risky, as most say it doesn't work
and they get a message that it is not supported.

I bought an A/V composite cable tonight from the Apple store, hooked it up to my Panny-EH55 and Ipad,
and was able to record to disk a music artist on AOL sessions. Worked perfectly, great quality,
great sound.
