I have been searching without success for an answer to this question so apologies if it has already been covered.

I would like to use the SD card slot on my DMR EH-67 to import standard definition mpeg 2 PAL video files. To do this, I need to fool the DVR into thinking the files were made by a camcorder. I can create the correct SD video folder structure using MultiAVCHD and the DVR will attempt to copy the mpeg file, but whatever I try it always says the copy operation is unsuccessful without offering any useful information as to why. I am certain it has to be possible to successfully imitate a camcorder file in this way. Has anyone done this and can anyone offer any tips? What am I missing here? What resolution and other parameters would such a file have to have? Unfortunately, I don’t possess a SD card camcorder that would give me this information.
