Hi! I have a 3 magnavox dvr's. One is a 515 that I had almost full of titles. I was burning a title to dvd on a 513 when I relized that I had not covered the 515 up. When I checked the 515, the nearly 600 titles were all gone eek.gif. Is there any way to recover any of the titles???????

There's no known "recovery" program built into the Mags, but I can't imagine ANY commands on another unit that would DELETE ALL TITLEs... theres' only one command like that in the HDD Menu, and I don't think you were in THAT menu to do a dub on another machine, were you?

I'd stop right now and let people think about this... there might be a "most-perfect" thing to do at this point but give people time to think what that might be!

After I made the dub, I deleted the one title on the 513 by seleting the title button on the remote and selecting the title, that I had just dub, to delete. I don't know how I managed to get the 515 to delete all the titles, but somehow I did. ????

I think I may have figured out how I did it. I selected setup on the remote then hit the up arrow to take me to dubbing on the menu. There was no disc in the 515, so it skipped over dubbing in the menu and went right to the HDD menu. frown.gif

Oh, no!

Unfortunately, that does make sense. since going UP would go to the HDD Menu, as you said, and an OK would auto-select the first option there, "Delete All Titles."

OMG! Explainable but still a real FUBAR! eek.gif

The exact same thing happened to me....

I don't know how I wandered back to 'delete all' on the menu I wasn't looking at - but EVERYTHING disappeared.
Of course I've almost refilled it again by now, but it still stings!
